To all Vassar Club of Boston members, You are invited to a free concert of Passover poems and more, performed by two Vassar alums…Washington DC based Beth Rubens ’89, and Boston area based Steve Pixley ’89. The concert will be at 8pm on March 25, 2023 at Kerem Shalmon, 659 Elm Street, Concord, MA 01742. Beth will be singing a song cycle of Passover poems written by her brilliant cousin, Barbara Joan Tiger Bass, and set to gorgeous music by Steve. This will be a world premiere of these songs. They will also be performing additional music by composers such as Stephen Sondheim, Kurt Weill, Leonard Bernstein and a few more by Steve Pixley.
